| 575402 | 2007-08-02 01:58:00 | Remember that older Dell 750 P-3 that I burned down and re-installed XP-Pro/SP-2? Well, the version of XP I have has WMP9 in it...so I wanted to upgrade to WMP10.... But...Noooooooo-oooooo! M$/Windows INSISTS on making me goto WMP11. May there be cheese turds in Mr. Bills yogurt. |

| 575404 | 2007-08-02 06:00:00 | Did it that way . . . no soap! I think Ill go back and reformat and re-install XP/SP-2 and see how far I can get before it denies me the WMP10 update . I know the WMP10 it still in the M$ site, but as I stated a long time ago, I think it's a hotfix or security update that's poisoning the water around the actual installation . The download happens all the way thru, just the install is denied . I gotta figger this out . . . I am getting angry now . |

Well . . . now it's basically a psychological thing . . but I was denied the ability to UPGRADE to WMP10 from v9 on another Dell . I like v10 . . I have it in almost everything else I run, and I just wanted it in this extra Dell too . This might be my windmill, but I am gonna figger it out . |
