| 575242 | 2007-08-01 22:31:00 | has anyone succesfully got off jury service? If so,what excuse worked for you? | lance4k (4644) | ||
| 575243 | 2007-08-01 22:36:00 | Nope, never had to do jury service yet. But unless you work for a govt dept (dont know if this applies to all govt depts tho) or similar, you better have a good excuse. Or else you'll end up in prison, like the juror, who got prison the other day. |

| 575250 | 2007-08-01 23:30:00 | I have done it 3 times. I reckon everyone should do it at least once. Gives you an insight on how the jury system works. I actually enjoyed it. Trevor :) |

| 575251 | 2007-08-01 23:34:00 | At the interview, they asked me what I thought of the justice system . I told them that everybody who appears before a judge is guilty . They asked me how I came to that conclusion . I told them that at one time or another, everyone has broken a law at least once if not several times and this was just the way the law was gonna get even and catch up with them . I haven't been asked back since . |
