| 576655 | 2007-08-14 11:04:00 | Of course it's needed. How else would Intel sell the new hisher speed CPUs, disk manufacturers the new huge disks, memeory manufacturers the enormous memory chips, without a resource hogging OS to mop up all these advances? What are you drinking there Graham;) |

When the next one comes out we'll have the same crowd saying they're sticking with Vista . Some folks don't like change . |

| 576657 | 2007-08-16 07:08:00 | It will be interesting to see how many people move from XP to Vista in the time it takes for Windows 7 (Vienna) to come out 2-3+ years from now. | winmacguy (3367) | ||

| 576660 | 2007-08-16 10:06:00 | I will switch to vista when most the issues are sorted & it won't break the bank to have a computer that can run it well - same thing I did with XP. | Greven (91) | ||

| 576662 | 2007-08-16 20:58:00 | I for one will not go to Vista. When Win XP expires in 5 years or so it will be Linux or MAC. Those 24" MACs look quite appealing.. | paulw (1826) | ||

They are following the design of the iPhone and use Aluminum so they are recyclable. Apparently a lot of US corporate managers are looking at Macs as well. |
