| 576418 | 2007-08-04 16:08:00 | So I might be buying 32 computer from Auckland tomorrow. If so, I'd want to drive up there and get them. This leads to a question I simply can't answer. Can they fit in my car? It's a 1997 Honda Accord LXi. I can use all the seats and the boot if necessary, but if they can all fit in just the back seat and boot, that would be much better, as I could bring a friend along. Does anyone know if I can fit them in? They are Dell Inspirons 2400s, plus others of the same size. That's a normal Mid-ATX PC. The combined weight is a bit under 250kg. Get a spanner and leave the front (except yours) and rear seats home - You will be Sweet.....heck u might even fit the pallet in there as well !!! |

I can use all the seats and the boot if necessary, but if they can all fit in just the back seat and boot, that would be much better, as I could bring a friend along. The friend occupies too many cubic inches better used for tower space, besides, a "friend" consumes food, drinks, hotel/motel room too just about doubling your expenses. Ditch him...unless it's a her and you're a him or vice-versa. :waughh: |

It may be better if you just hire the van anyway (your chances of encountering an officer between Aucks and Welly are pretty high, even for just a random breath test) | Myth (110) | ||

| 576422 | 2007-08-05 04:32:00 | Don't you mean PCs rather than CPUs Beeswax? Getting a bit early in the morning? Wait, it is just CPU's isn't it? I mean there aren't even any monitors etc. And not really, I usually clock in at around 3-3.30am:D |

Calling the whole box the CPU is technically wrong, just as calling it the hard drive (equally common) is wrong. |

| 576427 | 2007-08-05 12:18:00 | It's a common idea, but completely wrong. Thankfully most people will still know what you mean. I see I lost the auction. I bid up to $2420, and then gave up. Stuff paying $2900+ for that, I don't think it's worth it. |
