| 576469 | 2007-08-04 17:32:00 | Did you succeed or come close? Just had a discussion with a couple of work mates about want they wanted to be when they grew up kind of thing. I wanted to be a rock star when i was a kid, the closest Ive come is local band. Played at Strawberry Feilds once but that was about it. What yours? |

I shouldda gone left or right or straight ahead or whatever . . . . . or met that other person or married that other girl/woman . . . . it's a morbid thought mobius . Actually we can go quite moribund with this idea . . . if we let it get to us then we'd never make a decision or take a chance in life as we'd be all thinking the choices and variations or permutations that MIGHT not be the best choice . If we just take each day as it comes and remember that tomorrow or yesterday is pretty much out of our hands, then we'd all be a lot healthier . Fear or loathing of the unknown . . even the PAST unknown is just counter to productivity in this life . This is where people find hope . . . hope in what happens tomorrow and that they hope they survive today to even see tomorrow . Just a thought . . . . . |

| 576471 | 2007-08-04 18:44:00 | I still have my goal, but it has slightly changed, instead of the rock star I would be more then happy making a living off recording music, be it for adverts, soundtracks, sport events any thing like that. I was starting a life of sex drugs and rock n roll, well heavy metal really lol but things got pretty heavy and I went in a complete opposite direction, cut me hair and joined the army to straighten out. Instead the drug part just turned into alcohol:lol: |

This hasn't happened yet, but I'm on the way to this modest ambition and when I achieve this, then it's on to bigger things. The first thing to go, when I finally achieve my destiny and rule the planet, will be people with huge egos. I wonder how many people dreamed of being a forum moderator when they were kids...? |

It may happen yet (wheres lady luck when ya need her) Luck is getting closer to me (I now work with a guy whos partner has won a car from Westpac, and a week or 2 ago spun the million on the Lotto wheel for her work syndicate... he shouted us a great lunch at work :D). So its getting closer :p |
