| 1437139 | 2017-07-14 03:20:00 | Who was the clever fellow who invented the electric blanket? It's such a lovely sensation to hop into a warm bed on a cold winter's night. :) I just love my electric blanket and am very grateful to that clever fellow that had the foresight to invent such a wonderful luxury. It makes going to bed on a cold winter's night so nice. All I have to do is make certain that SWMBO remembers to switch it on. :sleep |

I personally Switch to fleece or flannelette sheets in winter and just put more blankets on the bed. All snug and warm no power needed. Even with cotton sheets though they warm up very quickly. |

| 1437142 | 2017-07-14 05:03:00 | I prefer a bunch of blankets to sleeping with a bunch of mains voltage :) I never leave the electric blanket on when I go to sleep. I turn it off as soon as i get into bed. I think that it would be too hot if I left it on. But, of course, the best thing to sleep with is a hot woman.:D |

I hate it when you have just conjured up a sexy image in your mind, and SWMBO asks if you have remembered to put out the rubbish bin! Completely ruins the illusion. | mzee (3324) | ||
| 1437144 | 2017-07-14 07:48:00 | I have never owned an electric blanket. I use flannelette sheets. On a cold night I do feel the cold when I first get into bed but the bed soon warms up through body heat. | Bobh (5192) | ||
| 1437145 | 2017-07-14 08:18:00 | I'm with you Roscoe! I also love my Electric blanket. I put it on 30 mins before I go to bed, then turn it off. Really good on these very cold nights in Taupo! LL |

| 1437148 | 2017-07-14 21:21:00 | No electric blanket and cotton sheets only for me, SWMBO uses arctic fleece sheets and an electric blanket. Just one of several reasons why we have 2 king single beds pushed together. | gary67 (56) | ||
