| 1436333 | 2017-06-09 20:45:00 | My ANZ banking app, and the ANZ.co.nz website, both work fine when I'm connected to wifi at home. Up until yesterday (when I switched mobile companies) they both worked fine when on mobile data as well. Yesterday I changed SIM card to a different company and now the mobile app and the website time-out when trying to connect. If I switch to wifi they both work fine. This is, of course, a problem because most of the time when I need the app it's while I'm out-and-about and not connected to wifi :) Is this a known problem, or something that the banks do intentionally? Am I likely to get any help actually from the bank? I am currently in Mexico and my mobile provider is US based. On T-Mobile now, was on Verizon until yesterday. Any suggestions on how I can fix it? Cheers, Mike. |

I read that that country has the highest murder rate in the world. :( Came here expecting to see a helpful reply! :( Actually Mexico is quite safe if you behave and keep out of where you don't belong. Most murders are associated with the cartels - if you have nothing to do with them then you should be fine. We live here so leaving isn't an option. Cheers, Mike. |

| 1436336 | 2017-06-09 21:50:00 | Talk to your bank. I know that with my bank app that the device is registered for use individually. I can't log in with an unregistered phone. Probably your change of provider is the problem. | CliveM (6007) | ||

Probably your change of provider is the problem. I had wondered that, but I can't even access the anz.co.nz website, it times-out. I don't even get to a point to log in! Cheers, Mike. |

| 1436338 | 2017-06-09 22:21:00 | Can you access any other web sites from the new Provider ? Using wireless instead of the Mobile data as you are aware is totally different. Just a thought -If you can access other websites, esp https OK, "Maybe" the new provider has blocked the ANZ. :2cents: |

Seems odd... Cheers, Mike. |

| 1436341 | 2017-06-10 08:10:00 | See if similar happens by accessing other NZ banking websites, e.g. ASB, Kiwibank, etc. Sometimes I can't access my ASB App on data at a local shopping mall, unless if I turn off wifi on my mobile. | kahawai chaser (3545) | ||
