| 1436210 | 2017-06-03 00:18:00 | I have tried to register my ASUS mother-board so I can ask them how to update my BIOS. Their website is confused between 0 and O etc so I am unable to register their product. Is there any software I can safely run that will read the correct text and numbers? I have downloaded and unzipped the .cap file from ASUS to a USB drive. TIA. Peter. |

| 1436212 | 2017-06-03 02:01:00 | You get the model number of the board - not serial number. Take the side off and have a look. If it's a laptop, then you go by the model number of the laptop. Then just download the correct BIOS for your model, and the flash tool. You don't need to register or ask anything |

I entered the 24-digit sequence as I read them on the P8B75-M motherboard, but the ASUS site informed me I had wrongly entered o in place of O, and 0 in place of O. There are nine instances of this character, but I have no idea which ones are wrong. |
