| 1435889 | 2017-05-29 21:27:00 | Turned ON my PC this morning and my Asus Z97-A greeted me with this: "Please enter SETUP to recover BIOS SETTING Press F1 to Run SETUP" I pressed F1, enter BIOS setup, DID nothing, exit and saved settings, it boots normally. This is the second time it greeted me with the same error. The first time was about 2 weeks ago. Motherboard about to go? Battery? It keeps the time, though. |

Changed back to Ezy Mode and it allows me to reset the date and time. I have the latest BIOS version, i.e. 2801 . Does it matter whether it's 64 bit or 32 bit? I installed the x64 bit. |

So what is not right? You changed date and time, maybe they are only accessible in ezy mode. Did you try clicking on the greyed out date and time and adjust it then? 32 or 64 should do the same job. |
