| 1436105 | 2017-06-14 23:05:00 | What a joke -- The Oracle Team are basically all Aussies. The NZ team mainly Kiwis. a bit like when the All Blacks used to steal all the best Samoan players , or poach them from Samoan national Team :) Team NZ isnt really NZ. Its just a bunch of mainly Kiwis , not really a National side . The AB's wouldnt pick a Aussie as the captain of the team . So Team NZ no better than Oracle in this regard . Not a true NZ team . |

What a lot of plop. The Team IS New Zealand - trained in NZ, mostly if not all NZ citizens, etc, the boat and crew are known as Team New Zealand. They represent our national side. Put on your red socks mate! |

But the All Blacks have picked a Wallabies Captain to play for the All blacks. ;) Look up Des Conner, (1958 - 1964) played 12 times for Aus and in true ANZAC spirit, 12 times for NZ. :D He had one of the best reverse passes ever as I recall. |

Starts Sunday our time then Monday and then the following weekend. No racing during the week because NBC TV in the US has paid the big money for the broadcast rights and calls the shots. |
