1437015 2017-07-10 21:20:00 I disabled autoplay in Firefox, works well...

Some articles, not one but several embedded videos...as if you really want the lot launching themselves at once! Grrr...

1437016 2017-07-10 21:23:00 Also with he Herald is that they have many headings to the same story in several places. I'm sure that the size of their website would be halved if they had only one entry. A very messy website and whoever deigned it should be shot - probably a supposed Uni graduate! Bryan (147)

"Many headings to the same story in several places." Yes. Sometimes even side by side.

Jen posted earlier about choices. I've made my choice - I just don't bother with the Herald anymore. Stuff gives me local news, and in a more user friendly and navigable site. And the Guardian, Independent, and Telegraph for international coverage.

1437018 2017-07-10 21:42:00 The Herald site with a Ad Blocker is a mess and disjointed making to hard work

Their aim was more toward mobile use,to me there should be a option for both

1437019 2017-07-10 23:28:00 Many thanks Lawrence. I have followed the instructions - Instead of a message "be careful", I got your Warranty might be voided if you stuff up. I was confident enough to continue. When I double clicked it changed to "false", so I am happy now.

1437021 2017-07-11 08:08:00 The Herald used to be a respectable newspaper. It is now full of fake news and sensationalism, and gets more like Facebook every day. The proof readers are terrible. mzee (3324)
1437022 2017-07-11 10:00:00 The proof readers are terrible.

Have you any proof of that?

Ken :)

Because thats what the majority want. Thats why you get scandal, gossip & feelgood cat stories on the first few pages.
If they thought they could make more money with ONLY real news, they would do it .
They must know that the print media is living on borrowed time , maybee thats why they cant get good proofreaders .
