Actually - if you are desperate and very keen, you can download Procmon from Sysinternals (now part of Microsoft).
For an idea of how to use this, go to Youtube and search for "Russinovich" and there are plenty of detailed examples given. |

If its low memory laptop with 2 gigs of ram or less, as a freebee improvement you could try a USB flash drive and Enable Readyboost. Assuming the Laptop is on Windows 7 |

I was running Windows 7 Ultimate and Windows 10 Pro, and had been muttering about sluggish computers. Both had Google drive running auto sinc. Because of the Ransom-ware scare I took them off auto-sinc, and do a brief manual sinc instead. As a bonus, both computers are running fast, and programs opening without hesitation. |
