1436293 2017-06-07 01:33:00 Look on the edges of the door for a hole about 2 inches from the bottom edge, put flat bladed, normally, screwdriver through it and raise wheel, ie lower door, then proceed as above. zqwerty (97)
1436294 2017-06-07 01:52:00 I've searched. No holes. No adjuster.

Exceed didn't respond.
Have had a reply from an independent repairer though, $180 - $260, depending, so will go with them.

Thanks for the replies.

Then it has to be concealed - possibly the lower track - with either the built in sill cap - need to find a crease (article tutorial (ezinearticles.com)) or maybe a replacement sill track cover (www.johnsonrollforming.com). I vaguely remember my dad and I had to pop a lower one off on our family home veranda in the early 80's. Got me thinking...

Then something has to be concealed - possibly the lower track - with either the built in sill cap - need to find a crease (article tutorial (ezinearticles.com)) or maybe a replacement sill track cover (www.johnsonrollforming.com). I vaguely remember my dad and I had to pop a lower one off on our family home veranda in the early 80's. He got a mate to clean or fix it. There is a Aussie YouTube vid that fix it by inserting new U or flat shape track and rollers...

1436297 2017-06-07 22:06:00 Also, possible that the bottom rail of the panel/window may have to be tapped with a small wood block, along the track a bit, to reveal a hole of which the roller is attached below the rail. Then the opposite side may have to be tapped along as well. But the side upper rails may need be removed first, but if you can't find their screws, they may be concealed with a plug or cap. Or somehow pried or tapped off. kahawai chaser (3545)

1436299 2017-06-20 02:03:00 I ended up with Western Locks I think they are called, local, family crowd.

There was no adjuster. They didn't take the door off, they did say it was ancient and had had a hard life.

They took it apart, all the sides right off. Then replaced the wheels like that.

Brilliant job, very tricky....and very happy with their service.
Door is awesome now.
