Thanks also to Steven Tindall and the Italian or Swiss guy Mateo (?) who gave cash from their own pockets. Thanks also to Mr and Mrs Burling who probably started their son off in sailing and funded him etc. (Funny but I never see red socks on sale or being worn but I would like to) |

| 1436167 | 2017-06-27 00:24:00 | Good job well done. Next wish list: 1/ No more foiling cats and longer races 2/ Burling to either grow a mo' or shave the early-teens fluff off his top lip 3/ Not in Auckland |

| 1436168 | 2017-06-27 06:21:00 | Yes longer races would be good. They are over so quick. But in some ways I also liked the two races in quick succession (but not so much suspense) |

I'd give an arm to be a harbourfront restaurant owner now - we'll see a few new millionairs over the next few years. | Greg (193) | ||

You know what was the best part of this AC?? No hakas anywhere compared with other NZ sport where it seems to break out at the drop of a hat.. |

Then you go without. |

| 1436172 | 2017-06-27 23:14:00 | I see Team NZ might make a rule change re nationality of the sailors After all the bitching NZ did about rule changes to favor the cup holder ..... Sure , do a rule change re nationality, but make it ALL or Nothing , team members , boat DESIGN and construction. And sponsorship .All or nothing. Not a partial rule change thats suits NZ . |

How far would you see that going though? Just the people actually on the boat, or do you reckon team management, R&D etc etc. Most of the people doing well in the cup this time around are either kiwi or Australian anyway, so it seems like it would suit us pretty well. |
