1437004 2017-07-10 06:48:00 Does the NZ Herald give you the option to never "Auto-play" a video, then a day or two later, just ignore your decision and start playing a video for you.
It cannot make sense that your decision is only for a day. So why, why! :-(

1437005 2017-07-10 06:57:00 Depending on your Browser you need to disable HTML5

Stuff also is guilty of this as well

1437007 2017-07-10 08:45:00 It's been driving me nuts too! Since the website "upgrade" all videos started playing whether you wanted it or not. No choice. Then they give you that option, and then ignore what you selected the next day. I guess I should be grateful that there is at least a choice now.

Don't have a problem with the Stuff website using the same browser.

1437009 2017-07-10 10:29:00 I used to visit their websites every day but since their 'upgrade', it annoys me every time when I visit their sites. Result : I don't visit their site now. bk T (215)
1437010 2017-07-10 10:55:00 As I posted, they can be disabled but if you use Explorer,Edge or Safari you are stuck with them

1437011 2017-07-10 12:23:00 The Herald changed their format, so I deleted their link. That fixed it all, their website has come to be of the standard of their management direction and obviously doesn't work there either. What with acid paper and ink that comes off on anything it touches, the print versions are not even useful as chip wrappers now.
Stuff apparently is also suffering from people at the helm who don't actually give a stuff (but i must admit they show marginally more respect for their audience than any TV station has for many years).
