Best to stick with established, known products that have reputation based on many years of use. Ashampoo are hardly a AV software company. They are an anything software company. Jack of all trades , as they say It probably uses another AV companies engine to do all the work old reveiw au.pcmag.com "Ashampoo Anti-Virus 2015 relies on antivirus engines licensed from two competitors. You'd be better off going straight to the source, or to one of our Editors' Choice antivirus utilities." |

Perhaps that has changed now but in the past it was often impossible to download from links on their site your link ..... Though I haven't look in a while, it was also impossible to get an offline installer - they only offered a stub installer :yuck: |

Better for them to offer only the paid version ? : most who download a freebie will never buy a paid version. At one stage their freebie was a time limited version (from memory). |
