578391 2007-08-08 23:00:00 These guys are most excellent to deal with.
Excellent after sales service, beyond what is required.

I had the misfortune to need to contact HP about my printer and we all know what dealing with those call centres is like. I dumped it back on Digital Shop and she went out of her way to sort everything, sparing me hours of extreme irritation.

578392 2007-08-09 01:32:00 That's great- especially as I have have just had a week of irritation dealing with Parallel Imported. Worst customer service in the world

Maybe we should start a thread of best and worst... or no, wait- what about a poll?

578394 2007-08-09 01:47:00 Bought a dishwasher on Tuesday .

Arrived later in the day, and was sitting in the van with no packing or anything .

Enquiries revealed they had given me the floor/display appliance, not brand-new . I wasn't told this at the time, nor was there any indication that "display model only" was available .

Lost my rag . SWMBO thought I was being anal; it works, what's the problem???

I said that if I pay full retail for an appliance, I expect it to be packed in a ton of packing material and all boxed up when it arrives .

Seems we agree to disagree on that one! Apparently this is not unusual in small(er) town NZ . (Tui ad goes here)

Rang and spoke to store owner and expressed my displeasure . Said I was more annoyed at the deceit than the "used" appliance . Compensation is being posted . . . .
