| 577106 | 2007-08-06 08:29:00 | I too would stay away from Philips from what I saw on TV last month and also from talking to a mate who is a service tech. Just remember that any screen you buy in that price range is not going to be true HD (1920x1080p). They will most likely be something like 1366x768. yeah i know, theyre all 1366x768 that doesnt really bother me to be honest aye, im really looking at uitservice.com atm my mum is also buying another tv for the lounge, a sony bravia blah blah so this ones for my room, doesnt need to be extreme, so i would imagine that acer would do eh |

Maybe if you cant afford $1200 all at once try getting it on HP that way you pay less each month. I have a sony bravia 32" s series lcd tv and i have to say the picture is awesome i have had the settings on 720p but for sky tv where the picture isnt always that great i put it onto 1080i which eliminated some of the pixelation as im using an HD cable now the picture is stunning. Still as we have all said choose a reliable brand and don't waste your money on foreign brands if you want an acer tv do a google search on it read all the reviews about that model and decide after that what you want. |
