2009-03-25 04:01:00 | You have to paste it in some graphics program then save it. ie: irfanview/picasa Prtscr takes a snapshot, you need a program to paste it into

2009-03-25 04:18:00 | When I press prtsc what is supposed to happen? When I open Picasa it just wants to load all my photos, nowhere is there anywhere to paste anything. When I right click there is no paste option. LL

2009-03-25 04:23:00 | If you open something like Paint, & go to "edit” then “paste” your screen shot should show up. | stu161204 (123) | |
2009-03-25 04:27:00 | You have to paste it in some graphics program then save it. ie: irfanview/picasa eh?, Picasa is not a graphics program as such Speedy (yes you can change / edit photos, but you cant created new files or paste in images)

2009-03-25 04:30:00 | Well most do, I wouldnt know I dont use it | Speedy Gonzales (78) | |
2009-03-25 04:31:00 | You can also use ALT + PrtScn and grab just the current window. Using PrtScn you can just paste into Microsoft Word or most programs that accept Windows Image Files. I personally use SnagIt which grabs what I want grabbed. It saves directly to file, or I can paste into Photoshop or other.

2009-03-25 04:50:00 | I use Magical Snap (www2.ashampoo.com) - its not free, but there is a trial, and it has all the bells and whistles for editing etc- way to many features to mention here. There is a trial that you can get. IF you want I do have the earlier version on a Mag CD someplace, (someplace being the key word) not as feature rich as the current one - PM me if you want it. Edited: This Picture here (www.imagef1.net.nz) on their site shows some of the editing tools.(click to open it - on their site) PS: that pic was done in magical Snap - all of 15 seconds max - then uploaded directly from where I saved it to image F1
