758531 2009-03-22 08:16:00 I've just installed Firefox mainly because the Scrabble application on Facebook was supposed to work better than in IE. It does, which is great as I'm getting quite addicted to playing Scrabble. I'm quite liking Firefox overall. I have AdBlock Plus but don't know how to migrate? it to Firefox.

Sorry, it's AdBlock Pro that I have.

758532 2009-03-22 08:19:00 No need to migrate it

Its an addon, all you need to do is install it
addons.mozilla.org

Click "Add to firefox" then click "Install" when the windows pops up

Restart Firefox

Browse around the website for more cool addons

758534 2009-03-22 08:21:00 Cheers, thanks guys. bellbird (6169)
758535 2009-03-22 08:35:00 Oh oh, confusion. AdBlock Pro isn't available to select. I chkd the website and it looks as if it's only for IE which is going to be a pain if I decide to use mostly Firefox cos I paid for it. Anyway I can select AdBlock Plus in Firefox add-ons, hope it's free. Please enlighten me if I'm wrong. bellbird (6169)
758536 2009-03-22 08:40:00 Its here (addons.mozilla.org)

Its not for IE. Paid for what?? Adblock is free. If you wanted something for IE , you could have downloaded IE7Pro, its free

Most of the add-ons for FF are free. I havent see any yet, that you have to pay for

758537 2009-03-22 09:08:00 I did pay for AdBlock Pro. (www.adblockpro.com) and I think it was on the list of add-ons in IE at the time (but I could be wrong). Obviously I could have downloaded IE7Pro as you said but I didn't know about it. Anyway I don't think I can have it running in Firefox but if you can chk for me that would be great. bellbird (6169)
758538 2009-03-22 09:11:00 And how exactly can I check and see if its running? Speedy Gonzales (78)
758539 2009-03-22 09:17:00 I meant check the website to know what Adblock Pro was about . Nevermind, we may be at cross purposes here. Maybe I purchased a software program and am getting mixed up with add-ons. I'll just get the adblock plus add-on for Firefox. bellbird (6169)
758540 2009-03-22 09:22:00 Looks likes its for IE. IE7Pro does the same thing (blocks ads and flash) Speedy Gonzales (78)
