760005 2009-03-27 06:53:00 Hi. I have a Canon Digital SLR camera. Occasionally, I take a landscape shot and the horizon isn't horizontal. Looks mad particularly if the horizon is the sea. Anyway, I want to know how to rectify it in Canon Photo Professional, ZoomBrowser (the proprietary software) or similar, but can't find any reference to it. I presume it involves a partial rotate (just a few degrees) then cropping the image to maintain it's 'squareness'. Maybe 'tilting' isn't the right word (to be searching). Any ideas? Cheers. 760006 2009-03-27 07:05:00 Using Picasa you would select the basic fixes tab and then the "straighten" option. Use the slider below the pic to tilt it until level, then "apply". Ofthesea (14129)

760008 2009-03-27 07:37:00 Thanks, Ofthesea and Blam6. I downloaded Picasa, after searching for 'straighten' in the bundled Canon software, first, and it worked as Ofthesea suggested. Trying to avoid too much software that does the same thing, but it was worthwhile in this case. Cheers. A Team (13613)
