| 579837 | 2007-08-12 06:06:00 | I've been browsing through Digg this afternoon and came across an article about Segway inventor Dean Kamen's new work. www.ecogeek.org (www.ecogeek.org) The question must be asked though... why are eco cars so damn ugly? Wouldn't it make sense to integrate these new technologies into something affordable and relatively familiar with the everyday consumer? |

| 579843 | 2007-08-12 07:28:00 | If the "eco friendly" portion of car manufacturers started to make eco-cars that actually looked half decent, then their oil guzzling counter parts would probably diminish in sales, making the oil industry very angry. Check out "Who killed the electric car". That movie may answer your question. |

If so the Lexus hybrid models look the same as there normal counterparts, but are also cheaper and out perform there petrol counterparts. |
