They charged me australian GST and then said they couldn't refund the GST. Eventually they agreed to refund the GST but it was a nightmare for just a few dollars. I had the same issue and they never refunded it. Eventually I gave up due to it just being a few dollars. |

| 579619 | 2007-09-13 05:32:00 | I popped into Masterton's Dick Smith store yesterday to check when the Nano's would be in store & was told that their warehouse only got 22 in, which went to AK stores. DSE then ordered 500 more. No ETA for those. If the sales of the two previous generation Nano's are anything to go by, this 3rd Gen will sell huge! |

Apple has moved away from the psychedelic background with dancer to a simple white background with the many colours of the video capable nano playing video. very nice, and yes I am pretty sure they will sell well since they were all on Amazon.com's top 10 sellers list just after the announcement. DSE then ordered 500 more. If I was DSE I would have ordered 1500 as 500 will sell out too soon. I saw the display in Harvey Norman's in Wairau park a while back and they had a display cabinet with about 50 iPod nanos in each of the colours in the range just in the one store. I was in Bond and Bond in St Lukes after Christmas last year and they had sold out of every iPod in the store. Apparently they had been carry a lot of stock in the run up to Christmas. |
