| 759562 | 2009-03-26 07:10:00 | ah, this is windows way of telling you it cant tell what monitor you have installed. somehow windows either dropped the ball on the screen driver or the monitor isnt quite fully plugged in. usually the default sets to 800x600 but that might be XP | williamF (115) | ||

| 759564 | 2009-03-26 07:25:00 | I uninstalled the all the drivers for the device (toke several restarts to do so) and bam everything worked, could detect my screen and use it at the right RES. So restarted and all was good until windows automatically started installing device drivers and im back where i started. I guess i will have to find out where to stop windows automatically installing drivers, but then without any drivers will programs run properly, and 2nd with no drivers the GPU fan goes 100% which is really loud. |
