579558	2007-08-12 04:21:00	Given both the iPod and iPod nano are due to an upgrade, it is possible they just don't have many available, although it will probably be at least a month before new models come out. Always remember to check the Mac Rumors Buyers Guide (http://buyersguide.macrumors.com/) before buying an iPod or a Mac. After reading it all (plus other links) it sounds like they're only going to revamp the larger ipods (not the nanos) and bring out a new touchscreen (possibly) ipod next year. If someone has a link that says the ipod nano is due for an update, tell me and I won't rush into buying one tomorrow. EDIT: Just reread it, says its due for an update. Apple doesn't disclose information regarding upcoming product releases until they are ready to release them which is why there are a lot of Mac rumour and discussion sites on the web. Those images just relate to concepts that Apple has patented rather than actual design concepts (they are top secret) Apple would be unlikely to scrap the scroll wheel since they own the patent to the idea. The iPod nano could end up resembling the UI of the iPhone which is a move up from the click wheel and enables a full screen...other than that you will just have to wait and see.	winmacguy (3367)
