580393 2007-08-13 08:00:00 I'm very sorry for your loss, however if your boy had heeded your words re: pulling over (aside from the fact you were breaking the law on learners license), he would still be alive.....

Your message just now, was if caught pull over.....you stupid man, how about DONT break the law!!

This man frustrates me, how he is now blaming the police for his sons death.....

580394 2007-08-13 08:15:00 Agreed. somebody (208)
580395 2007-08-13 08:47:00 Same here. Saw him on Close Up. Anyway as Mr Wooster suggested the police should just get there reg. number then let them go. How Mr Wooster are the police meant to apprehend the driver if they did this, and let them suffer the consequences. Yes these sort of people also frustate me as well. Even his 19 year old daughter said the same.

580396 2007-08-13 09:00:00 Can I just add something in here which may interest people in Hawkes Bay. This guy happens to have the same name as a highly regarded and respected teacher at one of the secondary schools in Hawkes Bay. They are *not* the same person, in case anyone was wondering. somebody (208)
580397 2007-08-13 09:38:00 His father should be prosecuted and jailed for letting his son drive on a restricted liscence in the early hours.

tedheathI don't know the full story, but I'm guessing his father didn't even know where his son was

Which goes for a lot of parents these days...

580399 2007-08-13 11:06:00 Also the Honda CRX he was killed in had no warrant or rego. He decided to take it for a test drive after he and his mates were mucking around with it.

580400 2007-08-13 11:36:00 He was driving the Honda because he had crashed his own car on Friday night. He also had a previous fine for a driving offense. Mr Wooster blames the police and says a lot of people agree with him. I haven't come across one yet. Dally (6292)
580401 2007-08-13 11:39:00 Apperently there are a few hundred posts on the trademe forum siding against the police.

Personally I hope the Police chase a few more tonight.

580402 2007-08-13 12:29:00 He obviously has no idea what damage and havoc crackheads like his son cause. Someone should crash into him or one his loved ones and then we'll see what kind of stance he takes.

He's no better than his son for condoning such behaviour. Lock him up first!
