| 579548 | 2007-08-11 07:07:00 | Went into 6 different shops today in Chch, none of them have any 2gb iPods (and a couple of other types) and they dunno when they're getting them in. Where are they? What's happening? Anyone know? |

| 579549 | 2007-08-11 09:14:00 | Here available direct from the online Apple store NZ store.apple.com Generally the only time a product won't be available from an Apple reseller is just prior to a product refresh although what has probably happened in this case is thatt Rennaisance (Apple NZ) place their order through Apple Australia (Apple.com.au) and don't know what their getting until the container arrives which is probably what has happened in this case. |

| 579551 | 2007-08-11 09:25:00 | Apple NZ have had their site for years and years although Apple.com came down and took over the music part and the control of the actuall online store part in November last year just around the time the iTunes NZ store opened. At the time there was also a slight downward price adjustment of all the stock as there had been many complaints that Rennaisance was/is ripping NZ customers off-they still are a bit when you compare US prices with the exchange rate to NZ prices. This mostly happens because Apple NZ buys from Apple Aus, if they bought from Apple Canada they would get a better deal. Front page of the Apple NZ online store here store.apple.com |

I know when I was in Vegas the price diff to here was very small, and at once place it was even more! Even eBay ones are somewhat of a rip. Oh well, free engraving, might think of something and buy it from the Apple Store. |

| 579554 | 2007-08-11 21:49:00 | Given both the iPod and iPod nano are due to an upgrade, it is possible they just don't have many available, although it will probably be at least a month before new models come out.
