| 760224 | 2009-03-28 11:38:00 | I recently downloaded Google Chrome, didn't like it, and uninstalled it (After a few months). I guess I'm just used to Firefox. Anyway since uninstalling Chrome I can't open links in emails. (I use Thunderbird for email.) When I click a link nothing happens. Can anyone help pse? | Trevornchris (11918) | ||

Click the "Check Now" button where it says "Always check to see if Thunderbird is the default......." Make sure "EMAIL" is ticked and click OK. Restart Thunderbird. Try opening an email link below. If bob_doe_nz's instructions dont work - open FF Tools/Options/Advanced Tab - under General- click "check Now" and make FF the default Browser. Or if you prefer to use IE - , open IE - tools/Internet options/programs tab / make default. |

On behalf of the hundreds of non-computer-savvy people around may I say how grateful I am for members' help on this forum. |
