(I am so close to the train station it is not funny) buy a bike;) for me, it works out at a fraction of the cost (and that is accounting for rego, tyres, insuranc etc), a third of the time, much more convienient and saves walking to/from station. :D as for the car it is a bit cheaper than the train but then i have to find and pay for parking. and to top it off, last time i took a train i ended up getting harassed by a whole lot of christians trying to "save" me:mad: |

Ha ha ha ha!!!! |

Ha ha ha ha!!!! it cost me on my old 250 less than a dollar to get from the waitakere ranges to the city, and on my old fxr150 it was 50cents each way - and bike parking is free. currently i do a 55km daily commute from home to uni to work to home, and it costs me about $10-12 a week on my 400cc sport bike which i ride like stolen (so i could bring down the gas cost a bit:rolleyes: ) add to that the time cost, or saving in my case, at $12 an hour my bike actually pays for itself in the extra time i can spend at work you'd be surprised at how little it actually costs, if mum lets you:p |
