581588 2007-08-17 02:55:00 You're welcome Greg...

However you do know that I will come over and personally reposition your brain if you buy a shiney new camera or something from them after this :D :D

Wahoo! Finally. Some action around here! :D

I'll swing by and pick up Mets and we'll bring the hard liquor.

Greg - still got the nice deck with the BBQ? Put some plastic sheeting down so any blood doesn't make it all sticky.

Kewl.

That's the one... you could take turns with Greg and me. I make a good punching bag, but I can land a kick to the crown jewels when you least expect it :waughh:

581592 2007-08-17 06:28:00 Parallel importers buy cheap and try to freeload for warranty etc on the bona fide NZ Agent, most of whom are now sufficiently up with the play to shut them and their customers out.
Remember the sour taste of poor service and poor quality lasts a lot longer than the euphoria of getting a sharp price.
Caveat emptor

581593 2007-08-17 06:57:00 Not sure elsewhere, the Wellington Porirua branch is now closed.
Fortunately my $300 pocket camera didn't break within warranty.

I actually find Vodafone's Store customer service pretty bad too not just some parallel places.

Oh and harvey norman too

My friend wanted to buy a laptop for uni .All the customer service could do was saying how the laptop brand was a ferrari and he imitated a voice like brrm brrm then he mistakingly thought my friend's brother was our son.It was a mess

581595 2007-08-17 10:52:00 Do you expect the same level of service and attention from McDonalds that you would get from Antoine's?

When dining out, it is important to have the correct attitude.
From McDonalds I expect to get washable food that dries quickly and never needs ironing. From Antoines I expect some dork poncing about and dishing out overpriced ornamental garbage.

I am never disappointed at food foundries ;)

581596 2007-08-17 11:24:00 I bought a Panasonic stereo head from parallel importer North Shore thru Trade Me.
It lasted a week before the cd player starting skipping then stopped, a few weeks later the display went then it didnt receive radio stations.
Emailed the importers and got the runaround, had as much chance of getting it fixed as finding snow balls in hell.
Moved on went to Super Cheap auto and bought Sony it goes sweet.
Dont know latin that well but there some old saying about buyer beware.

tedheath

You are possibly thinking about Caveat emptor or let the buyer beware.
I may be wrong.
