Bummer eh.
I am pretty sure that if the OS X was majorly hackable that after 6 years of being on the market that the methods would be common knowledge. The fact that it isn't says a lot about the design and control that Apple has over the platform.

581140 2007-08-16 08:59:00 Ah, no- I meant it took all the fun out of the 'First time'.

Looks like the joke went way over someone's head... just like Concorde

Not at all, if you don't know what to do the "first time" your not using your imagination. ;) (on the female):D
BTW how many Macs (OS X) have you actually hacked Shortcircuit? (As opposed to MAC addresses)

I don't remember ever saying that I had hacked a Mac- in fact it is one of the last things I would ever bother doing.... it would just be, well...pointless :illogical

581144 2007-08-16 18:46:00 Hacking a MAC works the same way as a male teenager losing his virginity.

Once your in, what the hell are you supposed to do with it ?

So how many have you hacked Jams? -(The 2nd part of your comment just needs a bit of imagination)

If OSX ever becomes as popular as Windows then it's only a matter of time before it will be hacked.

I'm not saying it can't (people have had since early 2001 to do it) I'm saying that it's too much effort for very little return compared to Windows. Saying that it needs to be more popular/more market share is not entirely true, since the first person to successfully gain legit root_user_access to OS X would become pretty famous overnight.....<crickets>

581147 2007-08-17 03:45:00 The most recent successful hack of a Mac used a Safari exploit to gain control during a sponsored competition in Canada
