760220 2009-03-28 22:48:00 Highly likely a hardware problem, but see if this works:

Download the Vista Recovery CD from here (neosmart.net) using any Torrent client.

Once done, burn to a CD and boot from it using the faulty laptop.

Follow the instructions here (www.bleepingcomputer.com) to perform a startup repair

If that doesn't work at the VRC options screen select "Command Prompt" and perform a chkdsk /r /fOP in original post says he is on dialup. 120MiB may be a problem

760222 2009-03-28 23:48:00 Ok thanks blam6, will let you know, daughter coming round to pick up her son/my grandson (we trying to do the Complex String in Gran Tuirismo3 on PS2 at the moment) later today, will speak to her then about what she wants to do. zqwerty (97)
760223 2009-03-28 23:52:00 I would still connect it to a working system, since stop 21A can be caused by malware

Unless its got something like Goback on it, which can also cause that Stop error
