| 582270 | 2007-08-18 22:35:00 | I got one as well. What I find weird is it came into my email box dated 16/07/2007 but it was the 18/08/2007(Yesterday). *e-omg* |

| 582272 | 2007-08-19 00:50:00 | Hmmmm......so if I want to check my e-mails through xtra's Webmail, I have no choice but to sign up for this thing? Or is lack of sleep taking it's toll and I'm missing something?? Well, I'm missing the same thing, allblack. I ignored the "ra-ra" re Yahoo/Bubble email Xtra sent to my Outlook Express box a few days ago (never used Yahoo & don't want to) but noted the follow-up which said Xtra Webmail would be down over the weekend. So I wasn't surprised when a spam flood started - just assumed it's the stuff that'd normally go unseen into my Webmail spam folder. Out of curiosity, I've just tried to check that. But to do so, it seems I first have to register with Yahoo! No way... Definitely more info needed. (Luckily, my ordinary email is working & I only use Webmail when not at my own machine. If OE stops working, though, there'll be murderous thoughts - or a change of ISP). |

I have tried to do this, but get the following error, which shows that they have got major problems SOAP call did not return SOAP_OK So I nor my girlfriend who is overseas are able to check our emails. I am sure the s*** will hit the fan tommorrow when businesses can't check their webmail. |

| 582275 | 2007-08-19 02:01:00 | Well you're not missing out on anything by not using Yahoo Messenger . Yahoo should stick to their search engine . Whoever makes their programs (esp Yahoo), are crap programmers . Sounds similar to quite a few programs I've seen . Every version, seems to be worse than the previous version . There's nothing in Yahoo besides BOTS, and from what I've heard they kick you out after an hour (In YM, whether you like it or not lol) . You can log back in, if you can . And the latest version of Yahoo Messenger, I tried this morning, is like going on a merry go round . You could click on 3-4 different channels/rooms, you end up in the same channel you started in lol . You never actually go anywhere else . And most of the channels I tried, you ended up with Yahoo Messenger saying theres a communication problem . That was the end of that 1 day - in the bin . |

Microsoft was looking at buying Yahoo just recently in an effort to bolster their efforts against Google . . . Probably lucky for them that they didn't . |

Hopefully Yahoo didnt employ ex-Symantec programmers. Since both seem to have 1 thing in common. Crap programs. |
