2009-03-31 05:12:00 I have the latest macromedia flash player downloaded and installed but since I have installed Avast antivirus and Glary Utilities it doesn't seem to work. Is there any setting I can change to correct this. karbren (14078)
2009-03-31 05:21:00 How does it "not" work?

Download the removal tool from here (download.macromedia.com) and install again.

2009-03-31 05:51:00 It must work because I have used it before, but when you go onto a webpage that uses it for video or gaming it says I need to download a flash player to view. karbren (14078)
2009-03-31 05:55:00 you do realize that if its installed for IE doesnt mean its installed for FF (if you are using it). There are different releases for each browser beama (111)
2009-03-31 07:06:00 What is FF for a start and I do know I have installed it for IE. It worked fine before changing my antivirus software, but why does it not work now? karbren (14078)

Did you try reinstalling?

2009-03-31 07:55:00 I have deleted it but it now won't download as the page freezes all the time. I had the latest downloaded as I always update when new software becomes available. Where to from now? karbren (14078)
2009-03-31 08:16:00 Do you have Spybot on your system. zqwerty (97)
2009-03-31 08:22:00 I had installed version 11.5 and so deleted it to reinstall it. It showed I had this and 10.0.22.87 (IE) installed on here, but when you visited a web page that need a flash player to view game or video it told me that I needed to install one. So why does it not allow program to be seen when it is there? karbren (14078)
2009-03-31 08:23:00 No I do not have spybot, but I do have Spyware terminator, Malwarebytes, Glary Utilities and Avast. karbren (14078)
