581648 2007-08-16 11:59:00 So far, my mouse has never slipped over the tiny little "Log Out" button up there just as my finger hit the left mouse button. Thankfully though, the designers of this site have included a sanity check on the off-chance of this ever happening. Thank heavens I haven't needed it so far and have always hit the "OK" button. But if I ever need it, that "Cancel" button is right there - thank you Jesus - to prevent me from having to log-in again.

Phew.

581650 2007-08-16 15:42:00 No, it's this website. Every time I logout of PressF1, I'm asked if I'm sure I want to logout. Given the size of the logout button, and the fact that there's only one, it's completely redundant and just plain annoying - especially given the consequences of an unintentional logout - which would mean just logging in again.

I wouldn't mind if I was being paid 1 cent per click like an advertiser. But I'm not. Whoever is in charge of this website should disable the feature.

581654 2007-08-16 21:04:00 I thought Myth was looking a bit crusty . . . sitting in front of the comp for the last 3 years :dogeye:

But I know what Deane F is saying . . . when you click log out why can't it just be taken that yes- you really want to log out, and no- you haven't changed your mind in the intervening nanosecond .

It's computing for dummies :badpc:

I have a program on my comp that you have to click 3 different buttons to get out of it- it takes longer to shut the damn thing off than to do what you opened the progam for .

581655 2007-08-17 07:34:00 Oh, never noticed the log out button before:lol: Maybe it is for people who click it accidentally while trying to read their messages (PM's)? beeswax34 (63)
