761794 2009-04-02 06:38:00 Today i recently Downloaded PCPitstop as recommended in your January Issue of PCW PC Pit stop was recommended for clearing Allstate of junk apparently not to me, it sent my computer into a crash i have had to remove it to stop the crashing apparently it needed a Active X control, no blocker or AV was running at the time
I would like this to get resolved as soon as possible because one needs to clean up HDD :P

761795 2009-04-02 06:43:00 If you were using IE, did you allow the activex file to install?

Use this instead (www.ccleaner.com)

And Glary utils the free version below

761797 2009-04-03 04:50:00 Most of these "Optimizing utilities" are hoaxes/myths

If you really want your PC to feel faster, upgrade it, or remove unneeded startup items at least. Defrag the registry and page file too.
