583217 2007-08-25 03:21:00 If Telecom/xtra is so awful, why are you with them? There's plenty of others.

If you're not with telecom what the hell are you all grizzling about.

Now we don't want any of that JJ,we don't want sensible questions.

583218 2007-08-25 03:51:00 I merely asked the questions users in this forum wanted answers to . I was in the position where I could ask those in charge what many on these forums wanted to know .

The blogpiece is not a technical analysis of Bubble, which by all accounts looks like a good product . It was about the somewhat tricky roll-over .

I'm not bringing in a new broom .

I don't even own a broom .

quickedit : oh, and a 'tough weak' is playing on all the negative attention Telecom has received in the media, and in discussion forums around the country .

:)

OK . I can understand a play on words .

Now for the next post .

583219 2007-08-25 03:59:00 Hi Jan,

Spelling error on the first line of second paragraph, 'weak' instead of 'week'.

Your reply says, "fixed."

Is this a play on words?

As I went back I note that the Blog was changed from weak to being week.

Thank you.

583220 2007-08-25 05:54:00 Um, I gotta say- I think you might have spent too much time smoozing with the glitterati... where is the hard hitting journalism... the probing questions that would have left the Telecommies quivering by the punch bowl? Hmmm? Shortcircuit (1666)
583221 2007-08-26 07:54:00 Truth is that the company providing the very backbone of the Internet in NZ know they have crapped in their own nest so badly that its time to jump into someone else's nest . The aspire to do it NZ but first they will go off-shore?, then what?, Nothing is what .

And remember to support Telecom the same way they support NZ . God damn, this crap is retarded in every single aspect apart from whatever angle Telecom have got for their own interests, Though I wouldn't be surprised if they don't have a clue and have just thrown the alienated another chunk of the people they extort money from .

Telecom do do quite a lot of sponsorship . I would like to see other companies such as Vodafone and Telstra sponsoring NZ things, as they don't seem to put much money back into NZ .

583222 2007-08-28 01:58:00 Like Vodafone Warriors and 3 Vodafone Air NZ Cup teams? X-Air and Beach Volleyball. Or Vodafone NZ Foundation for kids? Mate, VF are probably one of NZ's biggest sponsorship sources.

Worldwide, they would sponsor more sport than anyone besides the Sport Labels the athletes wear.

Telstra is Australian anyhoo, and they sponsor naming rights to a rather large stadium in Sydney which was custom built for the 2000 olympics.

Telecom sponsor the Super14. I don't see much else from them, but I'm sure that isn't cheap, so who's counting?
