761529 2009-04-10 04:14:00 Buy the -gu if you can this time :D the extra 2MB ram means you can flash Tomato on them, highly recommended ;) Chilling_Silence (9)
761530 2009-04-10 04:56:00 How many meters before the signal drops to poor? Blam (54)
761531 2009-04-10 06:38:00 Had it going at a couple of meters previously, now seems to be non-existent can't even see the network when the laptops practically on top of it.

Will see about getting a GU Chilly, got to convince the boss to spend the money first.

Cheers Guys

761532 2009-04-10 07:29:00 Oh I promise you, its worth every cent spent!

Ive noticed the same with the GC models, unfortunately. Ive had several to use as Wireless Repeaters, but in the end I ditched the lot of them in favor of GU models because they just werent up to the task. Its a shame how Asus can do so well with the GU and so horribly with the GC.

That said, the GU isnt without its faults (Though in all fairness they are minor), but the things you can do with it to easily turn it into a $700 router instead of a $70 router :D
