584125 2007-08-24 11:19:00 Ah, no.

But it does have pink glitter writing on the front saying this:
01010001
01010100

:nerd: :p

I rather like the sound of that, Jen.
Next the guys will be demanding screenshots...

As for winmacguy, the adjective "unsquashable" comes to my mind.
Or "one-track" to describe his.

Give it a rest in Chat at least, please.
Keep your Mac plugging to the technical PF1 side.
It's getting soooo boring...

Ah what it actually says is:
On average, the study found, all people generally prefer blue, something researchers have long known. The study also found that while both men and women liked blue, women tended to pick redder shades of blue — reddish-purple hues — while men preferred blue-green.

I hate pink. My house was pink. Its now white with dark blue trim.
You could call it a red shade of blue - because I matched it to the roof not because of some dodgy rubbish study from some guy who was despaerately trying to prove his pink theory.

584127 2007-08-24 21:43:00 pctek, evolutionary psychology is not some guys crazy theory, it is far more able to describe the "creature within" than say "behaviourism" which is the current in vogue theory in NZ universities, where we are seen as a programable being with nebulous and vaguely annoying primitive traits, the sexes being similar or programmed to be different by malign social forces that exploit women.

You did not RTFA very well because the reasons why women might prefer a particular colour over another are quite plausible.

Scouse's link hammers home the message:

Men and women have been hanging around with each other for the last 100,000 years, more or less in the form we are now, we know you as well as you know us, believe it or not.
