Ah good old winmacguy, trying to divert us all from the real issue at hand.

583823 2007-08-24 06:04:00 AT&T currently sell an average of 3 iPhones a day per store and have over 1100+ stores in the US. Apple is about to hit 1 million iPhones sold by the end of Sept 2007.

Apple has succeeded in committing European mobile phone operators that want exclusively to sell its new iPhone to share parts of their revenues with the technology group.
The contract, which was signed by three European mobile operators in recent days, requires that the operators hand over to Apple 10 per cent of the revenues made from calls and data transfers by customers over iPhones.
The contract was signed by T-Mobile of Germany, Orange of France and O2 in the UK, people familiar with the situation told FT Deutschland, the Financial Times’s sister paper.

583826 2007-08-25 19:40:00 My issue was that while Macs/Apple products don't show cryptic error messages, here it is doing exactly that.

Macs/Apple products that have been forcefully hacked with the equivalent of a crow bar and a can opener will show cryptic error messages because they were never designed to be dealt with like that.
Apple products off the shop floor that are treated like regular electronics won't. About the worst thing a Mac will do is a kernel panic or occasional hardware fault which is usually repairable or replaceable and which is why you get an Apple care warranty.

583827 2007-08-25 20:23:00 You can always get your iPhone integrated with your Audi

It's an optional feature, but if you're in the market for a new Audi, they may have a pleasant iPhone-powered surprise in store for you.

The German automaker has announced a new Music Interface that effectively connects your newly acquired Apple iPhone to the large on-screen display, granting you access to both phone and music functions.
