Now I'm going to do what you said in this post: Download HijackThis from here (majorgeeks.com) Save it and run it from your desktop. Does it happen in safe mode? Tap F8 on boot and select "Safe mode" see if it freezes any more. And look for nay exclaimation marks or errors in the event log. Run>eventvwr.exe. I think I found the problem. I terminated the HP processes in the task manager, and the problem is gone. Don't know what were those processes doing to break the computer... By the way, what can I do to remove those HP processes from startup? I put here some of them I found: - hpqimzone.exe - hpqnrs08.exe this 3 are from the HP status icon near the windows watch, and when I shutdown the icon, the problem disappears: - hpqste08.exe - hpqtra08.exe - HPZinw12.exe (sometimes two of this)	tromin (13998)
