| 761122 | 2009-04-01 15:33:00 | You could also try (and I am 95% sure it will work) a linux live CD.I think all PC users should have a linux cd.They are great for getting round windows problems. I would reccomend PUPPY which is tiny but has all the basics.It will go on a pendrive.Any live CD will see windows drives and get around a lot of MS security glitches. |

| 761124 | 2009-04-09 07:26:00 | You could also try booting on a Linux CD (I use Puppy) and copy the files to your hard drive. You may even be able to change the permissions at the same time. Can't understand why your USB drive is not connecting. If it still doesn't in Linux, you have another problem. |
