| 583667 | 2007-08-22 17:22:00 | So where are they from??? . . . . somewhere between the Southern US border and . . er . . . say, The Equator . :eek: What I am trying to show here is that with all this melting pot of society that calls itself US-Citizenry, comes a lot of non-indigenous persons with scripts and policies that are NOT in the interest of the rest of the local inhabitants . We get this constant flow of illegal people from South of the border who will not- and totally refuse- to obey the laws as they protest and march in rallies demanding their "rights" . But, the oxymoron is that as non-citizens, they have no "rights" in the first place . We had an interesting case of a militant woman, non-US citizen who sought refuge in a catholic church (a hang-over from medieval days) as a way to not get deported back to Mexico . Why doesn't the Vatican take them to Rome if it wants to get so involved? She was flagrantly abusing the US refugee laws and flaunted them for a year or so . She hid in the church, venturing out from time to time to attend protest marches for illegal aliens, stirring up rallies and mobs to "demand their rights" . They destroyed some Arab, Korean and Iranian businesses with firebombs and broken windows in protest . Shop owners were beaten and shot by the Mexican mobs . The INS (Immigration and Naturalization Service) looked the other way as she made these parries at the laws but finally grabbed her as she was in a car going to another mob/meeting to stir the fires of discontent . She was actively protesting about the laws and how they tore apart families with children when one or both parents would be ejected from the US, and that might have been a good argument IF when she was picked up, she asked to also take her fatherless child, but she only asked to kiss him good-bye before she was deported . . . leaving the kid behind as a ward of the state . Now . . ya gotta ask . . . if her declared purpose was keeping families together at the expense of the welfare and social services, why did she so easily eschew HER motherhood and let the kid fall through the cracks, leaving him now parent-less? This has now likely set any feelings and support for her and her cause into the crapper by the public . The LA Times however has been running headlines that call for instant citizenship of these people as a way to give them the rights they so rightfully deserve . Totla amnesty is their cry and they get to present this in full 80pt fonts on the top of the front pages . If she could so callously toss her kid aside and abandon him while she had the option of taking that child with her back to Mexico, how could she be a visage for family togetherness with the same breath? A lot of people are really upset with this recent situation . People who were fence-sitters on the issue are now fully polarized into thinking that this whole "rights" issue has now got to be handled with an iron fist . Final line: These people are the worst criminals, totally lawless and depraved people and they DEMAND that they have "rights" that far exceed the legal citizens . Most, if not all our local crime, murder, robbery, assault and general mayhem is perpetrated by these same people who have no regard for the laws of the place they infest . Sorry if that sounds racist . . it is however very factual . I wish it were a redneck problem and poor white trash thing . It isn't . Rampant disregard for the laws and rules of a country that welcomes them and then they totally abuse the very system that gives them food, shelter and paying jobs by paying it all back with the worst morals and shows reasons for NOT allowing them in . There shouldn't be any borders, but there shouldn't be such flagrant abuses either . John Lennon's "Imagine" is just a rhetorical muse . . . . but I can see why it won't fly . The liberal churches here are now totally at odds with the US Government . . and this is going to make some very interesting headlines soon . . . just you watch! Unfortunately as I see it, NZ is also on the cusp of some of the same problems . . although on a much smaller scale . Hopefully no-one is harmed or hurt while this goes on . I read the NZ Herald, and this problem is pervasive in all facets of the world right now . |
