Trying to load Vista onto a SCSI HDD attached to an Adaptec 29160 I get CDBOOT error (cant recall exact wording, will post later). I can't load WinXP either as it gives a different memory error. I can however boot WinPE and Linux distros ok so I am trying to work out whether my problem is the SCSI card or the Mobo. I have tried a couple different SCSI controllers with the same results and the only time i can get Vista to boot off the CD is when the HDD is not connected, same with WinXP.
Any thoughts? |
