583548 2007-08-21 21:32:00 With the release of bestmate and text 2000 thats release for sometime now and after waiting so many months vodafone still hasn't release any plans for account customers.
I decided to go back to prepay .I was on a you choose 20 +3MB plan + text 2000 for $40.But because I always exceed the 20 free minutes and pay $1 per minute after that.I think its much cheaper to go back to prepay

I was wondering if any of you are finding on account plans too expensive and have changed back to super prepay?

583549 2007-08-21 22:19:00 Never had anything else and use true reward points to pay, so it's almost relatively painless.
Phones are just too dear, in this country. End of story.
Mind you, I don't use the thing unless I have a good reason too.

583550 2007-08-21 22:28:00 Been on prepay ever since I can remember, never changed to any other plans, not even txt 2000. ronyville (10611)
583551 2007-08-21 22:53:00 Telecom has better low end plans imo. roddy_boy (4115)
583552 2007-08-21 23:00:00 Telecom 'mates rates' prepay does great for me. Only hassle is calling vodafones....that doesn't happen too often though. I find I go through about $25-$30 a month, probably 200txts and the rest is calling. Even the lower end plans are too expencive for most people IMO. wratterus (105)

I also find the mobiles rather expensive in new zealand.I have never bought a mobile in new zealand .I always buy it overseas and I find the plans with vodafone are far too expensive.Super prepay was a good deal but lately I feel tired waiting for vodafone to release anything for account customers.

It seems that they have forgotten about the account customers and left them with something really expensive so after 1.5 years of being on contract.I've decided to leave

I thought you could text to overseas with a telecom phone. Given that people replace their phone every few years, CDMA will be supported in NZ for a good number of years. ALso telstras agreement with telecom could see CDMA retained in Austalia for longer too.
