2009-04-06 02:19:00 | I just got one of these toys shipped from the UK. Ordered 28 Mar, arrived 3rd Apr, almost as fast and some NZ suppliers. www.scythe-usa.com No more messing about at the back of my desk to plug in a sata drive or firewire cable. My case is not real user friendly for that sort of thing, it has external USB/Audio/Firewire on the back and on the Top but both the way the case is situated is not easy to get at. USB Hubs on the desk and card reader on the desk make those a little easier though.

2009-04-06 04:58:00 | No idea blam that is why I got it from the UK, cost me 35 pounds including freight. I have one internal USB port and it required 3 to make everything work, I used an octopus usb hub from DSE to get the three working. Firewire and Sata were easy enough and I have not bothered hooking up fan control or audio yet

2009-04-06 05:03:00 | You could buy the same thing from ModsterPC, but there's not as much on them Looks like Playtech have this (www.playtech.co.nz) I take it this is the same place (www.iway.co.nz(Black-or-Silver).html) Looks like DTC computers in dominion rd, have the above controller as well

2009-04-06 05:21:00 | Different thing speedy. I wanted it mainly for E-Sata, Firewire, USB ports, plus Card Reader all in the same unit. This also has 6 different knobs for fan speeds, plus audio outlets. Your link is just a fan controller model, but same company. www.sunbeamtech.com Might be wratterus's model I don't know. Some at www.modster-pc.co.nz They seem cheaper.

2009-04-06 05:56:00 | Yea thats mine. In black though. ;) www.modster-pc.co.nz Got one of those too for the rest of the fans. The all in one panel thing is actually getting a bit old now. Quite a bit of the stuff I dont use, and one of the temp sensors has died (although I'm pretty sure that was my fault, screwed it under the motheboard one time by mistake).

2009-04-06 05:58:00 | Yer I'm just using a SDHC card reader for bigger memory cards, with USB 2. Thats good enough for me. Audio is already on the front with USB. So, dont really need something else for it. Dont think any card readers have a connection for the smaller FW plugs. Otherwise, I would get one for the PCI FW card. So, I could put one port at the front. I suppose you could order what you want from frontx.

2009-04-06 06:09:00 | Yes I looked at FrontX prior to getting what I did get and FrontX don't yet have eSata and Firewire which were a couple of my must haves. I might get another one except one like wratterus's one in Silver to match my other case.
