| 762366 | 2009-04-05 03:11:00 | HI! I have an Intel 82915G chipset on my computer, running vista on it ! only 1 gb memory! cpu 2.93 ghz intel Keep getting dump memory error messages, when i try playing games. I spent the last week to find out why is the problem, how can i solve it. All as i found is the display driver , and need to updating. I did but still same problem! Decided to do one thing , but i'd like to ask you guys frist, might you can help me! Obviously not enough memory to run games on my computer,do i need: 1, buy more memory (ex another 1gb) or (vista recommend) 2, buy an video card pci-e 256mb (or something similar)? thanks so much! | 762367 | 2009-04-05 03:17:00 | What graphics has it got now? Where did you get the driver from? What errors come up exactly? What games - all of them or some of them? |

| 762368 | 2009-04-05 03:26:00 | Welcome to PF1:) Firstly, what games are you trying to play? Your integrated graphics probably cannot handle it. Even if the integrated graphics can meet the games requirements a chip has very little of its own memory and therefore it utilises your system's memory. Running Vista with 1gb is not a good idea...running a game on a computer with 1gb on RAM with integrated graphics is even worse! I suggest you check if your Integrated GFX meet the games' mininum requirements, and if it does get another 1gb stick of RAM. Give us your mobo no. and we can find a suitable stick of memory for you to buy. Blam |

| 762373 | 2009-04-05 21:02:00 | I wouldn't bother adding more RAM, Get a real graphics card instead. | pctek (84) | ||
| 762374 | 2009-04-05 22:23:00 | Glad to hear its all sorted. If you can afford it, get another gig of RAM. Try to get 2 identical sticks so you can go dual channel. Blam |
