762125 2009-04-04 01:19:00 want to use it to play music from my laptop through my house. I am currently borrowing that exact same one off my mate blam, and i cant get very much distance out of it, even with it right next to my stereo it is quite bad. Would like a usb one that plugs into the pc/laptop so i dont have to give it external power or batteries. nedkelly (9059)

The seller just doesn't know his/her stuff. It'll work with ANY device with a 3.5mm Jack!! 100% sure

And that is car cigarette lighter powered, the USB port is just to plug an MP3 Player INTO the FM transmitter.

Ned-Doesn't seem like theres any USB powered ones.

Would streaming music over the house be an option?

And FM radio may not produce very good sound either....

If you must, you'll probably need to get a normal FM transmitter then get one of these:

762128 2009-04-04 01:58:00 well i have an airport express that lets me stream music to a 3.5mm jack but that is only one jack. And the thing is i want it to go to 2 or 3 things in the house. nedkelly (9059)

getting a normal car powered FM transimitter with an AC adapter would be thecheapest option though...
