585372 2007-08-28 02:34:00 OK....now for something different and not Telecom.

Last weekend the kids and I were talking about Central Park in Manhattan, and I was trying to explain that it's a bit bigger than some parks they know in Wellington! i.e. Ben Burn park in Karori!

Sooo....what I would like to do is give them some perspective, and I'm thinking the best way would be to superimpose C.P. on a same-scale pic of the lower North Island, or even just greater Wgton. Something that would give them an idea of just how big this sucker is!

Using Google Earth would probably be a winner, but I have no idea on where to even start with something like that....

Anyone got any ideas?
Cheers

It's my friend too, but 843 acres will mean what to a 7 and 10 year-old?
