Sorry tedheath.

The Police do normally enforce the Law in so far as it is taken to a Court.

Would you like to be in Court having to defend yourself against a charge of discharging a firearm to defend yourself, family or property? That disposes of your view on the Police I think.

And as for Kahui. I think you may be correct.
For Chris Kahui I have no idea whether he is guilty or not.
The Judge should not have given bail in any case as the bail conditions were not adhered to.

BTW the Police ENFORCE (as opposed to inforce)

For this I do worry!
Judge in AKL for ignoring Kahui braking conditions of bail.

Did you mean "breaking conditions of bail."?

584292 2007-08-25 10:14:00 The police were being cowards, their job is to carry out orders. They just chickened out. They were problay scared the maoris would give them the bash.
They have set the standard in NZ now, a court order isnt worth the paper its printed on.

You have my vote there Ted, very disappointing that if you are a Maori, you can ignore court orders and even disregard the police......you could probably insert any gang in there to be fair.

I think this one will have serious repercussions...

The police missed to oppotunaty to go in with armed offender squad and tasers, just to be sure there was no monkey business.....LOL, monkey business haha
